Alligator found in Michigan motel room after checkout
A live alligator was discovered in a Michigan motel room after a guest checked out. The three-foot-long reptile, named Wally, was found by staff at the Pine River Motel in Cheboygan. The owner, who collects exotic animals, believed Wally had escaped. Motel manager Gary noted that Wally was friendly and allowed police to hold him. Wally was returned to his owner on Friday night. It is unclear if any charges will be filed regarding the incident.
