Amazon recalls child safety gates for serious injury risks

Several baby safety products have been recalled due to safety violations that could lead to serious injury or death. Among the recalled products are baby safety gates sold on Amazon. These gates, specifically the Retractable Safety Gates from HabiLife, pose a risk of entrapment. This stool can collapse or tip over, leading to falls. Reports indicate that two children were injured, one suffering a brain injury. Additionally, the Style Life Eleven Baby Loungers, sold on Wayfair, are recalled because they present suffocation risks. Buyers should stop using them immediately and seek a refund from Wayfair if purchased after June 23, 2022. Love Our Home has recalled pink braided crib bumpers sold on Shein. These bumper strips pose a suffocation risk for infants and are banned. Consumers should not use these bumpers and should contact Love Our Home for disposal instructions and refunds.
