Ambazari Bridge in Nagpur reopens for traffic but faces new closure in three days
The Ambazari Bridge in Nagpur has reopened both sides for traffic after months of construction delays. However, this relief will be temporary as one side will close again within three days for further road work. The state public works department plans to start work on the dam side approach road after a cycle rally on January 19. This closure will last about seven days, with additional curing time extending the disruption until the end of February. Traffic issues began in May 2023 due to the bridge widening project, which cost Rs7.54 crore. Despite the reopening, surrounding roads remain in poor condition, with dust and debris affecting local areas.
