AMD launches Radeon RX 9070 GPUs on March 6
AMD has announced its new Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT GPUs, set to launch on March 6. These mid-range cards aim to compete with Nvidia's RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti, featuring improved performance for 4K and 1440p gaming. The RX 9070 has 56 compute units and a boost clock of 2.54 GHz, while the RX 9070 XT has 64 compute units and a boost clock of 2.97 GHz. Both models include 16 GB of VRAM and are designed for better power efficiency compared to previous generations. AMD's new FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 technology aims to enhance upscaling performance, competing with Nvidia's DLSS 4. The RX 9070 and 9070 XT will support over 30 games at launch, with plans for more titles throughout 2025.
