AMD launches Ryzen 7 9800X3D with enhanced gaming performance and efficiency

AMD has released the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, the first gaming CPU from its new Zen 5 series. This chip features a second-generation 3D V-Cache, which improves gaming performance by increasing L3 cache without the clock speed limitations seen in previous models. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D offers significant performance gains in CPU-intensive games, achieving up to 40% higher frame rates in titles like Baldur's Gate 3. It also shows improved efficiency, requiring less power while delivering higher frame rates compared to competitors.
