Amit Shah launches criminal laws booklet in Guwahati

This booklet, created by Assam's Criminal Investigation Department, aims to standardize law enforcement across Northeastern states. The launch occurred during a review meeting attended by various state leaders and police officials. Shah emphasized the need to modernize the criminal justice system for better efficiency and fairness. The meeting focused on the implementation of the new laws and strategies for smooth adoption. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma noted that these changes would enhance clarity and effectiveness in the criminal justice process.
