Weimann stated that while he wanted to play and help the team, he believes surgery was the right decision for his future. He is now focused on recovery and hopes to be ready for the team's pre-season training. However, his future with Blackburn Rovers is uncertain as his contract ends on June 30. Weimann expressed frustration about being sidelined and only able to watch games from home. He aims to be fit in three months, which aligns well with the start of pre-season.
