Andor Season 2 may include fan-favorite Rebels characters

Season 2 of the popular Star Wars series Andor is set to premiere soon on Disney+. This season continues the story of Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna. It takes place four years before the events of Rogue One and focuses on the growth of the Rebel Alliance. The first season showed how Cassian joined the Rebellion, while the upcoming season will explore how different rebel cells came together. The trailer hints that familiar characters from the animated series Star Wars: Rebels may appear, especially as both series occur around the same timeline. One key character likely to join Andor is Hera Syndulla. She plays a crucial role in the Rebels series and was present at the Yavin-4 base, where significant battles took place. In Rogue One, there are hints that confirm Hera was on Yavin at the same time as Cassian, making a crossover possible. Mary Elizabeth Winstead has already portrayed Hera in the Ahsoka series. If she appears in Andor, it could strengthen the connection between the two stories and highlight her importance to the Rebellion. Fans will have to wait until April 22 to see if Hera, or other beloved characters from Rebels, will connect with Cassian in the new season.
