Andrew Koji's character Zeek drives chaos in London
Andrew Koji is set to make a big impact in the third season of the action series Gangs of London. He plays a mysterious assassin named Zeek, who is described as "the human Terminator." Koji is known for his roles in several thrillers, including Netflix's Black Doves and the movie Bullet Train. In season 3, former undercover cop Elliot Carter takes over as London's drug kingpin. Zeek enters the picture, creating chaos as he turns against gang members without loyalty to anyone. Koji explained that Zeek's arrival is like throwing a hand grenade into the mix. He hinted that there may be deeper connections between Zeek and the gangs as the season unfolds. Gangs of London is famous for its intense fight scenes, and this season promises even more thrilling action. Koji described a fight sequence between Zeek and Elliot, emphasizing the importance of motivation and emotion in their battles. Filming the show came with challenges, especially due to its close-up camera work. Koji said he once accidentally damaged a camera while filming a fight scene. He expressed excitement about playing a character like Zeek, noting that he hadn’t seen actors of his ethnicity in such roles when he was starting out. The third season of Gangs of London launched on March 20, with all eight episodes available on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK and Stan in Australia. It is currently not available in the US, but the first two seasons can be streamed on Netflix.
