Anna Harp cherishes her father's final note
Rudolph Clausing, a 66-year-old dental technician, died on January 13, 2021, from lung disease after contracting COVID-19. His daughter, Anna Harp, was heartbroken as she could not be with him during his final moments due to pandemic restrictions. After his passing, Harp's mother found a special note Clausing had written. In the note, he expressed that "it has been such a good life." This message became very important to Harp, who now treasures it as one of her most prized possessions. Harp, who is now a wedding photographer and content creator, got the note tattooed on her leg as a reminder of her father’s words. A year later, she connected with a company, Moments Grove, which helped her create a framed, 3D version of the note. She hangs it in her kitchen so she can see it every day. Recently, Harp decided to share a video of the framed note on TikTok, which quickly went viral, receiving over 1.6 million views. Many viewers shared their own stories about notes from loved ones, highlighting the shared experience of grief. Harp hopes to pass on her father's message to her son and future grandchildren, inspiring them to live fulfilling lives, just as he did. She plans to keep the framed note in a prominent spot in her home for everyone to see.
