Anna Shlimak appointed CFO of Cronos Group in Toronto

Cronos Group Inc. has appointed Anna Shlimak as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Shlimak previously held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at the company. She will take over from James Holm, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities but will stay until April 18, 2025, to help with the transition. Shlimak has been part of Cronos’ leadership team for seven years. During her tenure, she has been instrumental in shaping the company's strategy and improving its financial performance. CEO Mike Gorenstein expressed his confidence in Shlimak's ability to lead the company's financial strategy and growth. Holm thanked the company for his time there and expressed pride in what they have achieved together. He believes Shlimak will continue to drive success for Cronos in the cannabis industry. In her new role, Shlimak aims to enhance the company’s financial and strategic growth. Cronos is known for creating innovative cannabis brands and products like Spinach, PEACE NATURALS, and Lord Jones. Shlimak holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School.
