After coming on as a substitute in the 74th minute, he fell to the ground and needed treatment after the match. Tuchel said, "He looks injured" and that the situation "doesn't look good." Gordon has had a strong season with Newcastle, contributing nine goals and six assists in 34 games. However, he has missed the last two matches after being sent off in an earlier FA Cup game. England won the match against Albania 2-0, thanks to goals from Myles Lewis-Skelly and Harry Kane. Tuchel, in his first game as England coach, noted that his starting wingers, Phil Foden and Marcus Rashford, did not perform as expected.
