Anthony Joshua still viable for major fight options
Anthony Joshua is being supported by promoter Frank Warren to step into a major fight soon, despite facing a new injury. Joshua has not fought since his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois last September. He decided against a rematch to focus on a fight with Tyson Fury. However, Fury announced his retirement in January and seems unlikely to return to the ring. This left Joshua in a difficult position as he has been sidelined due to injury. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, recently mentioned that Joshua might be out for two months. Warren, who promotes both Fury and Dubois, expressed confidence in making big fights happen. He told Sky Sports that Joshua can enter the ring whenever he's ready. Warren emphasized that many heavyweight fighters are part of their promotion. Hearn noted that Joshua is 35 and probably has only two fights left before he retires. Warren acknowledged Joshua's impact on boxing, saying he has been a great champion for British boxing and enjoyed a successful career until his fight with Dubois.
