Antoine Dupont out for months with knee injury
France rugby captain Antoine Dupont has ruptured cruciate ligaments in his right knee. He sustained the injury during the Six Nations match against Ireland, which France won 42-27. Dupont will be out for a few months. Dupont was injured in the 30th minute when Ireland's Tadhg Beirne fell on his knee. The referee deemed the incident accidental. France coach Fabien Galthie expressed concern over Dupont's injury and has cited two players for further review. Dupont will miss the remainder of the domestic season with Toulouse, who are currently leading France's Top 14 league. France can secure the Six Nations title with a win over Scotland next Saturday.
