Anupam Kher wins Best Actor at OTTPlay Awards 2025

Actor Anupam Kher was a standout at the OTTPlay Awards 2025 held in Mumbai. He won the award for Best Actor (Male) - Critics for his performances in the films Vijay 69 and Signature. During his humorous acceptance speech, Kher made light of his appearance. He joked, "You had to choose people with different hairstyles to give me an award," which got a laugh from the audience. Kher noted, "There are only two kinds of men... baldies and future baldies!" The 70-year-old actor expressed his gratitude for the recognition. He said, "It is always wonderful to get an award, especially when you work hard." He highlighted how his recent works are some of his best in the last five to six years. Kher also performed a touching scene from his classic film Saaransh (1984), captivating the audience once more. The event brought together a variety of Indian talent, featuring notable stars like Kajol, Parvathy, and Manoj Bajpayee.
