Anushka Sharma's film "Chakda 'Xpress" delayed over budget issues

Anushka Sharma has been training hard for her upcoming film, Chakda ‘Xpress. She has dedicated herself to the role, receiving special cricket training from her husband, Virat Kohli. The movie is based on the life of Jhulan Goswami, a famous former captain of the Indian women's cricket team. Despite her efforts, the film's release has been delayed due to budget issues. Chakda ‘Xpress was supposed to launch on Netflix but has yet to be made available to viewers. Anushka's production company, Clean Slate Films, produced the movie alongside T-Series. Although she previously owned the company, her brother, Karnesh Sharma, now runs it. Filming began in June 2022, and intense cricket training commenced at that time. Karnesh referred to Chakda ‘Xpress as a big-budget film but did not disclose the exact costs. Fans are still waiting for further announcements regarding its release. So far, the only promotional material shared is a teaser on YouTube. Alongside Anushka, notable actors like Divyenndu Bhattacharya and Renuka Shahane are part of the cast. The anticipation for the movie remains high among fans.
