Apple appoints Kevan Parekh as new CFO succeeding Luca Maestri
Kevan Parekh has been appointed as Apple's new Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2025. He succeeds Luca Maestri, who held the position for nearly 11 years. Parekh will earn an annual salary of $1 million. Parekh joined Apple in June 2013 and has contributed significantly to the company’s success. He has experience in financial planning, investor relations, and market research, and has worked closely with various teams within the company. Before Apple, Parekh held senior roles at Thomson Reuters and General Motors. He has been mentored by Maestri, making him a suitable successor for the CFO role.
