To access the updates, users must open the News app and tap a banner for live updates. Once activated, the widget will display ongoing electoral count updates as they are reported from various states.

Additionally, the Apple News app includes an "America Votes 2024" hub, offering top election news, voting guides, and coverage of key states. Users can also explore stories about candidates and specific campaign issues.
