Apple's iOS 18 update introduces a new Maps Library feature in the Apple Maps app, allowing users to save and easily access their favorite locations. This feature simplifies the process of adding and managing saved places. To add a location, users can find it in the app, tap the + button, and select "Add to Library." Pinned locations can also be added by tapping the + button in the Library section and choosing from suggested pins. Users can remove locations from their Library by tapping the > button, selecting the place, and choosing "Delete." iOS 18 was released in September 2024, bringing additional features like Home Screen customization and a redesigned Control Center.
