Apple's Chief People Officer Carol Surface departs after less than two years

Apple's Chief People Officer, Carol Surface, is leaving the company after less than two years. She joined in March 2023 as Apple's first person in this role, taking over from Deirdre O’Brien. With Surface's exit, O’Brien will resume overseeing both retail and people teams at Apple. Surface was responsible for talent development, recruiting, and employee relations during her tenure.
