AR Murugadoss hints at Ghajini sequel possibility

Filmmaker AR Murugadoss has hinted at the possibility of making a sequel to his hit film Ghajini. The original Ghajini, released in 2008, was a Hindi remake of Murugadoss's own 2005 Tamil film starring Suriya. In a recent interview, Murugadoss shared that he has some ideas for Ghajini 2 but does not have a full script yet. He mentioned, "There is a possibility for Ghajini 2. We have something in mind and we will sit and discuss." He also confirmed that if the sequel is made, it will be released in both Tamil and Hindi. The producer of Ghajini, Allu Aravind, has also expressed interest in creating a second part, hoping to achieve another box office success. The storyline of Ghajini follows Sanjay, played by Aamir Khan, who suffers from memory loss and seeks revenge for the murder of his fiancée Kalpana, portrayed by Asin. Meanwhile, AR Murugadoss is preparing for the release of his new film Sikandar. The trailer for Sikandar was released over the weekend. It features Salman Khan in a dynamic role, highlighting themes of vengeance and justice. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and is set to hit theaters on March 30, 2025. This movie is particularly significant for Salman Khan as it marks his return to the big screen after his last release in 2023. Fans are eagerly looking forward to this action-packed film.
