Archbishop Wood defeated Bethlehem Catholic 69-35 in the PIAA Class 5A girls basketball quarterfinals, marking their fifth consecutive win in the state playoffs. The Vikings made 12 three-pointers in the first half, showcasing their strong shooting. Emily Knouse led the Vikings with 24 points, including five three-pointers. Ryan Carter contributed 14 points as Archbishop Wood advanced to the semifinals against Crestwood. Bethlehem Catholic finished their season with a record of 19-11. Despite the loss, Bethlehem Catholic's players expressed pride in their journey and gratitude for their coaches.
