Arizona State University has announced the hiring of Molly Miller as their new women's basketball coach. She comes from Grand Canyon University, where she had a successful tenure. Miller takes over after Natasha Adair was let go earlier this month. Adair's record at Arizona State was 29 wins and 62 losses over three seasons. In contrast, Miller enjoyed great success at Grand Canyon, leading the team to its first Western Athletic Conference title and its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament this season. This year, Miller's team had an impressive 32-3 record and entered the NCAA Tournament on a 30-game winning streak. However, they lost in the first round to Baylor. Over her five seasons at Grand Canyon, Miller achieved a record of 117 wins to 38 losses. GCU's athletic director, Jamie Boggs, thanked Miller for her contributions and expressed good wishes for her new role. Before coaching at Grand Canyon, Miller had a successful stint at Drury University, where she recorded 180 wins and only 17 losses over six seasons.
