Arshdeep Singh returns to Punjab Kings for Rs 18 crore in IPL 2025 auction
Arshdeep Singh was sold to Punjab Kings for Rs 18 crore during the IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah. He was the first player sold, with Punjab using their Right to Match card after Rajasthan Royals initially bid Rs 11 crore. The bidding started at Rs 2 crore, with Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals competing. After several bids, Sunrisers Hyderabad raised the amount to Rs 15.5 crore before Punjab Kings matched it and increased the bid to Rs 18 crore. Singh, a left-arm pacer, has played 65 matches for Punjab Kings, taking 76 wickets. He was also part of India's T20 World Cup-winning team earlier this year.
