Arunachal Pradesh border requires increased security and vigilance

The governor of Arunachal Pradesh, KT Parnaik, spoke about the importance of the state's border security during a seminar on development and security. The seminar took place at the Likabali Military Station and was focused on the strategic significance of Arunachal Pradesh, which borders several countries. Parnaik emphasized the need for constant vigilance along the Line of Actual Control. He called for technological advancements and community involvement to strengthen security. He noted that both security and development must work together to ensure a prosperous future for the state. The governor outlined a vision for the state that includes modern governance and improving living standards. He highlighted the need for local administrations to be strong and for community participation in decision-making processes. Parnaik also mentioned the Centre's Vibrant Villages Programme, which aims to improve facilities in border villages. He stressed the importance of teamwork between the state government, armed forces, and local communities to make these villages self-sufficient. He praised the organization of the seminar by the GOC 3 Corps and the 56 Infantry Division, describing it as an important platform for discussing the region's history and future initiatives in security and development.
