Assam man killed by wife, lover, and son
A shocking murder case has emerged from Assam, involving a man killed by his own family. The victim, Badir Ali, was found dead in his home on December 27, 2024. Investigators soon focused on his wife, Chemima Akhtar, and her lover, Nekib Ali. The police, led by Officer Navjit Nath, uncovered a chilling plan. Chemima allegedly drugged Badir by adding sleeping pills to his dinner. When he lost consciousness, she, along with her son Ramazan and Nekib, carried out the murder. They attempted to suffocate Badir with a blanket and then strangled him with a rope, causing severe injuries. The next morning, Chemima and Ramazan falsely claimed Badir died of natural causes. However, locals suspected foul play. A group of village women confronted Chemima, who was then handed over to the police. A post-mortem was conducted on Badir's body, revealing the truth behind his death. Nekib was arrested after a relative filed a complaint, while Ramazan fled to Tamil Nadu. Three months later, he was captured by police. Both Chemima and Nekib eventually confessed to their roles in the crime. Mirazul Azad, who aided them, was also arrested. The four were taken to the crime scene for a reconstruction of the events, highlighting the motive behind the murder: Chemima's affair, with Badir as an obstacle.
