Assassin's Creed Shadows currently lacks New Game Plus mode
Assassin's Creed Shadows does not currently have a New Game Plus (NG+) mode. However, Ubisoft, the game's developer, has suggested that this feature could be added in the future. While there has been no official confirmation of an NG+ mode, Ubisoft’s recent communications indicate plans for future updates based on player feedback. A post on the official Ubisoft Assassin's Creed Reddit account mentioned that it is excited to see how the game will evolve, hinting at ongoing development. If a NG+ mode is added, it might arrive about four months after the game's launch. This timing aligns with updates for previous Assassin’s Creed games. However, it’s uncertain due to the development challenges Shadows faced. There is also no guarantee that all content from the base game will carry over if NG+ is introduced. Players can expect gear, in-game money, and upgrades to transfer, but specific rewards for completing the mode remain unclear. Previous games offered different incentives for finishing NG+. Players must complete the main story to access the NG+ mode. They should also prepare by obtaining the best armor and weapons in the game. Fans are eager to see if Ubisoft will deliver this feature later this year.
