"Assassin's Creed Shadows" features exclusive dog quest

In the new video game Assassin’s Creed Shadows, players have the chance to complete a special dog quest called "Thrown to the Dogs." This mission is a bonus for those who pre-ordered the game or bought special editions. To start the quest, players must have finished the game’s prologue and reached a particular part of the story where a character, Naoe, is healing from injuries. Players can unlock the quest by pre-ordering the game or purchasing specific versions like the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Editions. To complete the quest, players need to find a dog at Tennoji Temple, located east of Osaka. At the temple, the dog can be found beside its late master's grave, marked on the game map. Once players pet the dog, a cutscene reveals that it belonged to a man named Ichiro. Players will then follow the dog as it leads them to three men by a cart. One of them is a Samurai Duelist who is also searching for Ichiro’s dog. After dealing with this conflict, players learn from Takako, Ichiro’s sister-in-law, that the dog has a key to Ichiro's hidden inheritance. To find the key, players should go to the back of a nearby building and cut down some bamboo. This reveals a secret crawlspace where the key is hidden. After retrieving the key, players will return to the temple, unlock the box, and finally give the dog, named Tsuki-maru, a new home.
