Aston Villa targets striker Moise Kean for £43m
Aston Villa is interested in signing striker Moise Kean from Fiorentina. The 25-year-old has attracted attention from many Premier League clubs this summer. Villa is reportedly monitoring his situation as they look to strengthen their squad. Fiorentina signed Kean for €18 million last summer. His release clause is set at €52 million, which is about £43 million. This has attracted interest from clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham, and Napoli. Many teams prefer triggering the release clause instead of negotiating with Fiorentina. Kean has had his best season yet. He scored 20 goals and made three assists in 34 matches for Fiorentina. He is currently the second-highest scorer in Serie A with 15 goals this season. Fiorentina may not be able to keep him with so many clubs interested. Before joining Fiorentina, Kean played for Everton. He was at the club for four years but only had one full season. He was loaned out to Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain during that time. Aston Villa is also looking at other players from Serie A, such as Ademola Lookman and Tammy Abraham. They need a new striker, especially after Jhon Duran left for Al-Nassr in January. Villa's head coach, Unai Emery, is also hoping to sign Marco Asensio from Paris Saint-Germain.
