Asus launches advanced mini PC, faces competition challenges
Asus has launched its latest mini PC, the NUC 15 Pro+. This model is said to be the company's most powerful yet. It features Intel's 15th-generation Core Ultra 9 processors and Arc graphics. The NUC 15 Pro+ promises an 18% performance improvement compared to older models. Designed for professionals and content creators, this mini PC is compact and built for high-performance tasks. However, there are concerns that it may not compete as effectively with rival smaller brands that use AMD’s Strix Halo technology. The NUC 15 Pro+ is unique because it meets Microsoft’s Copilot+ requirements. It supports up to four 4K displays and includes two HDMI 2.1 and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. It also has various USB ports for connectivity, making it suitable for multitasking. Another feature of this mini PC is its advanced cooling system, which operates more quietly than previous models. It includes Intel Wi-Fi 7 for fast data transfer and has a built-in proximity sensor for user detection. Asus is marketing this mini PC as a competitor to Apple's Mac Mini M4, emphasizing its compact design and ease of upgrades.
