Audi has launched the all-new A5, marking a new chapter in its compact luxury sedan lineup. The A5 succeeds the iconic Audi A4, which set high standards in the automotive world for nearly three decades. The new model offers sharper design, improved performance, and advanced technology. The recent unveiling of the A5 and its sportier counterpart, the S5, took place in the UAE. Over two days, journalists and car enthusiasts tested these vehicles on various roads, experiencing their capabilities firsthand. Audi showcased its latest innovations, making the event a celebration of German engineering. The Audi A5 is equipped with two engine options. The A5 Sedan 35 TFSI features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine generating 150 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 9.8 seconds. The more powerful A5 Sedan 40 TFSI offers 204 horsepower and can reach the same speed in 7.8 seconds. Both variants come with a 7-speed S tronic transmission. For those seeking more excitement, the S5 is a standout. With a 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 367 horsepower, it can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.5 seconds. Its all-wheel-drive system and adaptive suspension ensure an exhilarating driving experience with excellent road grip. The A5's design reflects Audi's commitment to elegance. It features a long, sleek shape with a prominent grille and stylish LED headlights. Inside, the A5 boasts a modern cockpit with a main digital display and two additional screens for passengers, highlighting its focus on technology and comfort. Pricing for the A5 starts at Dh198,300 for the base model, while the S5 costs Dh314,100.
