Auger-Aliassime reaches Miami Open third round
MIAMI — Félix Auger-Aliassime from Montreal moved to the third round of the Miami Open after winning against Australian qualifier Tristan Schoolkate. The match ended with a score of 6-4, 6-4 on Friday. The 24-year-old Canadian played very well on his serve, winning 84 percent of his service points. He hit six aces and did not face any breaks against his serve. Auger-Aliassime also won all 11 points he played at the net. He broke Schoolkate's serve twice during the match. The entire match lasted one hour and 27 minutes. Auger-Aliassime is seeded 18th in the tournament and has a season record of 17 wins and 6 losses, with two titles to his name. He will next compete against 15th seed Lorenzo Musetti from Italy. Auger-Aliassime and Musetti have played each other six times before, with their victories split equally.
