Aurangzeb's tomb in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar declared 'no drone' zone

In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, the local administration has declared the tomb of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb a "no drone" zone. This decision comes amid rising tensions and calls for the monument's removal. Protests have erupted across the state, with many politicians supporting the removal of the tomb located in Khultabad. Recently, a protest in Nagpur turned violent. To ensure safety, a state reserve police force and additional personnel have been deployed in the area. District Collector Dilip Swami urged people not to believe in rumors and to contact officials with any concerns. Meanwhile, police are monitoring social media for objectionable posts related to Aurangzeb. So far, over 500 posts have been deleted to prevent further unrest. Police have warned 80 individuals about posting incendiary content and indicated that legal action will be taken against those who do.
