Aurum Resources has reported exciting results from its Boundiali project in Côte d’Ivoire. The company found significant gold deposits, including a noteworthy hit of 9 meters at 24.61 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, with a standout section of 1.3 meters reaching 156.61 g/t gold. This discovery occurred in one of their diamond drilling holes at BM Target 3. Another hole yielded 2.68 meters grading 10.94 g/t gold, which also included a segment of 1.68 meters at 16.88 g/t. Additionally, a third hole showed another promising result of 10.03 meters at 2.75 g/t gold. Aurum's findings indicate that the mineralization extends beyond existing resource blocks. The best results were found south of the northernmost resource block. The information from these three holes may lead to an increase in the mineral resource estimate at BM Target 3. The Boundiali project is known for its extensive gold presence, with several artisanal mining sites and significant soil gold geochemical anomalies. The project currently has two main resource targets, together contributing 450,000 inferred ounces of gold to an overall estimate of 1.59 million ounces. Aurum is actively drilling at Boundiali, planning a total of 100,000 meters of drilling this year. They aim to update their resource estimates, with a first update expected by mid-year. The company also plans to conduct further exploration at its separate Napié project. With strong financial backing and rising share prices, Aurum is well-positioned to continue its exploration efforts and further develop its gold projects.
