Australian fashion designer Jessie White has been sentenced to two months in jail for a public outburst against two Balinese vets over her cat. She was found guilty of trespassing but remains free after appealing the decision. White, who founded the now-defunct Shakuhachi label, was accused of verbally attacking the vets when she attempted to retrieve her cat without paying the treatment bill. The court noted her behavior caused embarrassment to the clinic staff. Despite the sentence, White was not taken into custody as she filed an appeal immediately.
