Awhina won't introduce Adrian to her son yet
Awhina, a participant on Married At First Sight (MAFS), recently shared her decision to postpone introducing her partner, Adrian, to her seven-year-old son. Despite having a positive relationship with Adrian leading up to the show's Homestays Week, she felt it was not the right time for such an important step. Awhina explained that this decision came from her past experiences. She had not introduced anyone to her son since her ex-partner. Awhina emphasized that she wanted to take the matter seriously and not rush because the experts paired her with Adrian. During Homestays Week, Awhina and Adrian faced challenges, including a tense reunion between Adrian and Awhina's twin sister, Cleo. Their last encounter had ended in conflict, making Awhina nervous about their upcoming meeting. Fortunately, both Adrian and Cleo managed to behave civilly during the event. Cleo took Adrian aside for a private conversation, where she expressed doubts about the authenticity of their relationship, hinting that she saw him as just a chapter in Awhina's life. Awhina found herself curious about their discussion but could only watch from afar. Despite these challenges, Awhina and Adrian are looking to see how their relationship can progress. They are considering how to handle their long-distance situation, as Awhina is from Perth and Adrian from Sydney. Only time will tell if they can make it work. Married At First Sight airs on Channel 9, offering viewers a glimpse into the lives of its participants.
