Ayodhya's pilgrim increase indicates economic growth
Ayodhya is seeing a surge in visitors from around the world. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke about this growth during the inauguration of a new Coca-Cola bottling plant. He noted that the influx of pilgrims not only reflects strong faith but also boosts the local economy. The expansion of Coca-Cola’s bottling facility, managed by SLMG Beverages, is expected to create 900 new jobs. The project involves an investment of ₹350 crore and will double the plant's production capacity, allowing it to produce nearly 3,724 bottles per minute. During his visit, Adityanath also held a meeting to discuss ongoing development projects in Ayodhya. He highlighted the need for cleanliness at religious sites, especially during the upcoming Chaitra Navratri festival. He urged the municipal corporation to implement a strict cleanliness schedule. The CM announced plans for public awareness events across all districts as the state government celebrates its eighth anniversary. These initiatives aim to enhance the experience for both pilgrims and local residents.
