Baltimore County officer shot last week released from hospital
A Baltimore County police officer shot last Thursday outside the Wilkens Precinct has been released from the University of Maryland Shock Trauma. The officer returned home four days after surgery for his gunshot wound. Police Chief Robert McCullough expressed gratitude for the care provided by the hospital and the support from law enforcement. The suspect in the shooting remains hospitalized. The officer was greeted by fellow officers as he left the hospital on Sunday afternoon.
