Bangarappa urges JD(S) MLA to join Congress in Karnataka

Madhu Bangarappa, the Minister for School Education, has encouraged JD(S) MLA Sharada Puryanaik to join the Congress party. He used the saying "make hay while the sun shines" during a public event in Shivamogga Rural. The Minister spoke at a ceremony for the Barehalla dam repairs. He urged Puryanaik to consider joining Congress, highlighting the party's current power. Bangarappa joked with the crowd, suggesting they could protest outside Puryanaik's house to persuade her. He also promised to work on securing funds for local development projects. In response to requests for financial support to build temples, he emphasized the importance of building schools instead. He believes that schools are crucial for children's future, regardless of the size of temples. Puryanaik and other attendees were present at the event.
