Bar Smith, known from the reality show Teen Mom, has recently changed significantly following his release from jail. After gaining 40 pounds while incarcerated, the 28-year-old now looks different in photos. He was released on March 14 after serving time in a California jail. Bar had been sentenced to six months for a kidnapping incident involving his ex, Ashley Jones. His latest photo shows him dressed in black, standing in a parking lot with a blank expression. Since his release, he has opened a new Instagram account, sharing a post where he joked about his weight gain. Previously, he had over 100,000 followers on his main account, which he lost access to during his legal troubles. The new account is still growing, with only 147 followers so far. Bar’s legal issues stem from several incidents, including discharging a firearm at Ashley's college graduation party in 2021. He agreed to a plea deal and pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges related to an assault on Ashley in July 2024. His recent release comes after serving his sentence. Ashley has filed for divorce and requested custody of their daughter, Holly. However, their divorce was dismissed after both missed a court hearing last year.
