Barbie-themed flip phone launched in India for Rs 7,999

Human Mobile Devices (HMD) Global has launched a new Barbie-themed flip phone in India. The phone is priced at Rs 7,999 and is available for purchase through the HMD online store. This flip phone runs on the S30+ operating system. This means popular apps like Instagram and YouTube will not work on it. The device features a 2.8-inch screen, reminiscent of older Nokia flip phones. The Barbie phone comes in a bright pink color, which is also reflected in its accessories. It includes a pink charging case, a pink battery, back covers, stickers, lanyards, and charms. Specifications include a Unisoc T107 processor, 64MB of RAM, and 128MB of storage. Users can expand the storage up to 32GB with a microSD card. The phone also has a small cover display for call and message alerts. It weighs 123.5 grams and comes with a special Barbie-themed interface. The keypad features glowing palm trees, hearts, and flamingos. When powered on, it greets users with a cheerful "Hi Barbie" tone. The phone has a 0.3MP rear camera with an LED flash. It has a 1,450mAh removable battery and supports Bluetooth 5.0, a 4G SIM, a 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C for charging.
