BASF highlights career opportunities at Southern University fair

BASF recently participated in a career fair at Southern University. The event aimed to introduce students to job opportunities at BASF's facilities in Geismar and North Geismar. Through this career fair, BASF highlighted its workforce development programs. These programs include scholarships, internships, apprenticeships, and other professional development initiatives for both new and current employees. BASF operates manufacturing sites in Geismar and Vidalia. Together, these facilities employ nearly 2,000 people. The company also contributes about $300 million annually to the Louisiana economy through payroll, purchases, taxes, and charitable donations to local communities.
