Bay Area spring events include history tours and gardening
There are many fun events happening in the Bay Area soon. Here are some highlights for the upcoming days. On March 28, there will be a tour focused on the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad at the New Museum Los Gatos. The tour runs from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and is free with registration. Visitors can learn about the history of this local steam engine. Also on March 28, the Cantor Arts Center will host a public tour of an exhibition celebrating Auguste Rodin’s work from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event is free to attend. In Mountain View, a workshop called "ThinkPads 4 All" will teach participants about assembling and repairing laptops. This workshop is set for 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Registration is required. On March 29, a music festival called "New Music for Treble Voices" will feature several guest choirs at the First United Methodist Church in Palo Alto at 2:30 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $25. A gardening workshop on tomato gardening is happening on March 30 at Ma’alot Farms in Los Gatos from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participants will learn how to plant their own tomato gardens. Starting in April, various workshops and performances will take place. For example, on April 1, there will be a home-buying workshop in Palo Alto at 10 a.m., offering valuable tips for prospective buyers. These activities provide great opportunities to learn new skills, appreciate the arts, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Bay Area this spring.
