BCCI reveals schedule for next three IPL seasons starting in 2025
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the dates for the next three Indian Premier League (IPL) seasons. IPL 2025 will run from March 14 to May 25, 2026 from March 15 to May 31, and 2027 from March 14 to May 30. Each of the upcoming seasons will feature 74 matches, which is ten fewer than the 84 matches planned in 2022. The BCCI has communicated this schedule to the franchises via email. England bowler Jofra Archer will be available for all three seasons. The IPL 2025 Player Auction is set for November 24-25, 2024, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, marking the second auction held outside India.
