Beau Lamarre-Condon charged with double murder in Paddington
Beau Lamarre-Condon, a former police officer, is facing serious charges of murder. He is accused of shooting two people, Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, in February 2024. Jesse Baird was a TV presenter, and Luke Davies worked as a flight attendant. The alleged incident took place at Baird's home in Paddington. Afterward, Lamarre-Condon is believed to have hidden their bodies in surfboard bags, which were later found in a rural area. He is charged with two counts of murder related to domestic violence, along with one count of breaking and entering. Recently, psychiatric assessments for Lamarre-Condon have been postponed. These evaluations are necessary as he prepares to enter his plea. Initially, he was supposed to meet with a forensic psychiatrist in early March, but this has been delayed until April 1, according to his lawyer. The defense is requesting two more months to review the psychiatric report and discuss his potential pleas. A meeting between the defense and crown prosecutors is set for April 30 to consider any possible early guilty pleas and to narrow the issues at stake in the case. Lamarre-Condon was fired from the New South Wales Police Force in March 2024 after being with the force since 2019. He previously gained attention for running a celebrity blog featuring many famous stars. His next court date is scheduled for May 20.
