A group of influential Chinese-Americans, called the Committee of 100, criticized a new bill in the United States. This bill suggests banning Chinese nationals from getting most types of student visas. The group called the bill "exclusionary and self-defeating." They believe it harms both the U.S. and Chinese communities.
