Belagavi police display communal offenders for Ramzan peace

Belagavi City Police took action to ensure peace during Ramzan by parading communally charged offenders and drug peddlers. This event took place on Friday at the district police stadium. Over 220 individuals, linked to communal violence and drug-related activities, were showcased under the oversight of 13 police stations. Police Commissioner Iada Martin Marbaniang addressed the offenders, warning them to avoid further criminal behavior. The offenders were asked to sign a promise not to engage in these crimes again. Marbaniang highlighted that the police are keeping a close eye on those involved in communal offenses, drug peddling, and misuse of social media for harmful agendas. Multiple police officials attended the event to reinforce the message of maintaining law and order during the sensitive month of Ramzan.
