Belarus President Lukashenko begins state visit to Pakistan with talks on cooperation
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in Islamabad on Monday for a three-day state visit. He will meet with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to discuss bilateral cooperation and sign several agreements. A 68-member delegation from Belarus, including key ministers and business leaders, accompanied Lukashenko. This visit occurs amid heightened security in Islamabad due to ongoing protests by the PTI party. Authorities have sealed off the Red Zone and the Diplomatic Enclave to manage the protests. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that security measures aim to protect residents and their property.
