Belgium adds players for Nations League playoff against Ukraine

Belgium's national football team has added two players to their squad for the upcoming Nations League playoff against Ukraine. Coach Rudi Garcia is making these adjustments due to potential injuries among his current players. Ameen Al-Dakhil, a 22-year-old center back, has been called up. He has already played six games for Belgium, including the recent match against Israel last November. Michy Batshuayi, a 32-year-old striker, is also joining the squad. Batshuayi has been a part of the national team for ten years and returns after almost a year away from the squad. Injuries could affect the team further. Malick Fofana and Arthur Theate may not play in the first leg of the playoff on Thursday in Murcia, Spain. Fofana recently scored for Olympique Lyonnais, while Theate missed a game with Eintracht Frankfurt. The second leg of the playoff will take place in Genk, Belgium, on Sunday.
