Bengaluru records high temperatures exceeding 35°C
Bengaluru is experiencing high temperatures, reaching 35.3°C, surpassing both Delhi and Mumbai. The India Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning for parts of North Interior Karnataka from March 15 to 19. Residents are seeking ways to cope with the extreme heat. Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has advised schools and government offices to limit outdoor activities during peak sun hours. Other areas in Karnataka, such as Kalaburagi and Bidar, have reported temperatures exceeding 40°C. The heat is expected to continue without significant relief until late March.
